What is Sky Learning Explorer?
Sky Learning Explorer can help you find a broad range of TV programmes from across hundreds of channels which complement subjects from the GCSE and A Level curriculum.
All you have to do is search by the subject you’re interested in, and we’ll tell you all the TV programmes on Sky over the next 7 days to bring your homework to life.
We have exclusive video clips and articles from TV programmes across channels like Sky Arts, Sky One and The Discovery Channel to inspire leaning for everyone.
We’ve also launched an ‘Interests & Passions’ section to bring your studies and passions alive. With taster courses from The Open University and resources to complement our ‘Interests’ focusing on the Arts, History, Literature, Homes plus selected Language courses, we want to give everyone the opportunity to learn at a time that suits you.
We will be launching more Interests later in the year.
How does it work
Sky Learning provides you with tv programme recommendations based on courses you are undertaking or subjects from your interest and passions.
You can either search by using the drop down menu on the Subject Search found on the right hand side, or make your selection via the left hand navigation.
Both options provide recommendations relating to your subject areas however the subject search allows you to search for specific topics.
Soon you will be able to Remote Record recommendations made to you within Sky Learning.
Programme recommendations are updated on a daily basis and highlight programmes over the next 7 days so if there are no programmes for that topic then remember to check later.
