National Geographic “Six Degrees” Study Guide

Six Degrees

Articles

Sky Learning has secured some exclusive features from across our channels to inspire learning around our wide selection of subjects.

This month we have teamed up with Richard Allaway, author of www.geographyalltheway.com to create a Study Guide around National Geographic documentary "Six Degrees Could Change the World" where British author Mark Lynas and climate experts take a look at what effect each rise of 1ºC could have on the world. Our Study Guide features study advice for those studying GCSE and A Level geography and video clips (click through to video clips) from the programme so you can study at a time that suits you.

Also author Mark Lynas will be online for a Live Chat here after the show at 9pm on Sunday 24th Feb. Don’t miss the opportunity to ask Mark questions on climate change and find out how you can take small steps to reduce your impact on the environment.

Submit your questions now to ensure you get the opportunity to talk to Mark on Sunday. All questions and answers will be posted in the Sky Learning Forum after the Live Chat.

You can also find out more about behind the scenes with our exclusive article from producer Ron Bowman so make sure you watch "Six Degrees Could Change the World" on Sunday 24th February at 7pm on channel 526.
